Jesus Rico is the President of Hobo Construction, a licensed NYC Special Rigger, and a seasoned leader in high-rise façade restoration with more than two decades of hands-on and executive-level experience. At the helm of the company, Jesus directs every aspect of operations—from strategic planning and compliance to project oversight and team development—driving Hobo’s reputation as a trusted name in New York City’s restoration industry.

With deep roots in the field, Jesus has led the successful execution of hundreds of challenging projects, including the restoration of landmark buildings and the rigging of some of NYC’s most technically complex sites. His leadership style balances rigorous attention to safety, a mastery of logistics, and a strong understanding of preservation standards.

Jesus’s journey in construction began at a young age, shaped in part by multiple years of formative training at Valley Forge Military Academy, where he developed the discipline and leadership that continue to guide his work today. He earned his NYC Special Rigger license in his early twenties and quickly built a name for himself as a reliable problem-solver with a sharp technical mind.

Beyond his executive duties, Jesus has served as Safety Director for over a decade, reinforcing Hobo Construction’s uncompromising safety culture and strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. His deep knowledge of historic preservation continues to be instrumental in restoring some of New York's most architecturally significant buildings.

Outside of work, Jesus is a proud father of three, a volunteer youth coach, and a licensed private pilot. He enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with his family on new adventures.

Aleix Costa serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Hobo Construction Company, bringing more than two decades of managerial and financial expertise across diverse industries. Before entering the construction sector in 2015, Aleix held key administrative, analytical, and office management roles in the food distribution industry, where he managed operations, vendor relationships, and marketing support for imported goods.

Since joining Hobo Construction, Aleix has led the company’s financial strategy and operational execution, playing a vital role in its continued growth and success in façade restoration and roofing contracting. As CFO, he oversees financial planning, budget management, and compliance, including the preparation of monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and year-end closings with external CPA firms. His detail-oriented approach ensures accuracy and transparency across all financial reporting.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Aleix has a strong personal passion for technology and cybersecurity. He actively follows trends in digital security, infrastructure, and network systems—interests that enhance his strategic thinking and approach to risk management.

Aleix holds an Associate Degree in Industrial Electronics Technology and is bilingual in English and Spanish. His leadership is marked by a commitment to innovation, precision, and strategic growth—qualities that continue to strengthen the financial foundation of Hobo Construction Company.

Juan Lage is the Director Of Operations for Hobo Construction With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry.  Juan has built a career rooted in hands-on craftsmanship, leadership, and project execution.

Juan began his journey specializing in both interior and exterior renovations, developing a strong foundation in residential and commercial upgrades.

In 2015, he shifted focus to facade restoration, taking on the role of foreman and leading crews on complex Local Law projects throughout New York City.

Juan’s commitment to quality, safety, and team coordination helped him advance into project management, and then into oversight of all operating projects, where he directs and schedule staff, works alongside project managers, handles oversight of internal operations, all to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Juan takes pride in fostering strong team dynamics, solving problems on the ground and in the air, along with maintaining compliance with all City, State, and Federal guidelines.

With decades of experience and a deep understanding of the New York City's construction landscape, Juan brings both strategic oversight and practical knowledge to every project he leads.

Michael Levine is a highly experienced Project Manager with over 40 years in the waterproofing and building restoration industry in New York City. His extensive portfolio includes façade restorations, roofing systems, plaza deck waterproofing, below-grade work, and specialized projects in landmark preservation—all executed with precision and in compliance with Local Law 11/FISP and other city regulations.

Michael is known for his deep technical knowledge, practical leadership, and ability to manage complex restoration projects from pre-construction through closeout. He excels at coordinating with all key stakeholders, including building management, owners, engineers, contractors, and city agencies, ensuring smooth communication and minimal disruption to occupied properties.

With a reputation built on reliability, professionalism, and results, Michael brings over four decades of hands-on experience and a commitment to quality to every project he leads.

Adam Wojciechowski is a seasoned construction safety expert and a trusted leader in vertical access solutions, bringing over 25 years of experience as both a NYC Licensed Special Rigger and a NYC Licensed Site Safety Manager. His deep expertise lies in the design, safety, and oversight of suspended scaffold systems throughout New York City—systems that have safely spanned hundreds of job sites above the city’s bustling streets.

Adam’s impressive career has included oversight of some of NYC’s tallest and most iconic skyscrapers, where his meticulous approach to safety and compliance has earned the respect of clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies alike. His knowledge of New York City Building Code and site logistics is second to none, making him an invaluable asset to any high-rise project.

As Director of Safety & Compliance at Hobo Construction, Adam is responsible for ensuring that every project meets the highest safety standards, from pre-planning through execution. His leadership shapes company policy and best practices, and his mentorship empowers field teams to uphold a culture of safety and accountability.

In his role as a Special Rigger, Adam has also designed and engineered some of the most complex suspended scaffold installations in New York—often tackling the city’s most challenging access conditions with innovative, code-compliant solutions. His ability to merge technical precision with on-the-ground practicality continues to define his reputation as one of the most knowledgeable and reliable professionals in the field.

Carlos Wittong has more than 7 years of experience in the construction industry, bringing a strong background in estimating and project management across a wide range of interior and exterior work, including high-end residential projects and those requiring Local Law 11 compliance. Carlos’ experience spans both the planning and execution phases, allowing him to deliver accurate estimates while also overseeing project timelines, coordination, and quality. Carlos is dedicated, dependable, and takes pride in helping turn complex ideas into well-executed, successful builds. His goal is always to support efficient, on-budget outcomes while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and client satisfaction.

Orlando Matias is a seasoned Logistics & Equipment Manager with over ten years of experience leading the comprehensive management of assets, fleets, and equipment in the construction industry. In his current role at Hobo Construction, Orlando has full oversight of all company vehicles, tools, machinery, and inventory—ensuring their availability, optimal performance, and compliance with safety standards to protect field personnel.

His strategic and disciplined approach is rooted in his early career as a police officer, where he developed strong skills in risk assessment, decision-making under pressure, effective communication, and regulatory compliance. These traits now play a key role in managing operational logistics, controlling critical inventories, and implementing safety and preventive maintenance protocols.

Orlando has been instrumental in designing and executing efficient equipment management and supply systems, optimizing routes, minimizing downtime, and enhancing resource traceability. His deep understanding of applied logistics and forward-thinking mindset make him a trusted force in operational continuity and long-term planning.

Elizangela Daly, an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with over 16 years of expertise in office management and administrative operations. Originally from Brazil, Elizangela has built a career grounded in precision, accountability, and a passion for continuous process improvement.

Outside the office, Elizangela is a dedicated soccer coach—a role that allows her to foster leadership, teamwork, and strategic thinking, all of which enrich her professional work. Elizangela’s background in journalism has also sharpened her communication skills, enabling her to inspire and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

Vigo, a German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) who proudly serves as the Chief Morale Officer at Hobo Construction. With his friendly and energetic attitude, Vigo has a special talent for relieving daily stress around the workplace. He’s often the first face you see each morning, eagerly greeting every team member and visitor at the door and setting a positive tone for the day. Whether he’s making rounds in the office or popping into the shop, Vigo’s wagging tail and upbeat spirit instantly boost everyone’s mood and foster a warm, welcoming environment.
