Project Overview

On this project we completed a comprehensive restoration that blended structural reinforcement with meticulous historic detailing. Our work included terracotta, brick, and caulking removal and replacement, along with precise cutting and pointing. We installed new steel supports, hoisted and erected structural steel, and applied Parapro and Permabarrier waterproofing systems. The project featured the demolition and complete rebuilding of the cupola, including fiberglass panels custom-crafted to match the original terracotta. We also installed a new metal chimney, roof hatch, and performed epoxy pin anchoring with pull testing. Additional restoration included corner brick installation, concrete forming and pouring, RD coating and mesh reinforcement for stones, steel cleaning and coating, terracotta tile restoration, and full deck removal down to the concrete slab for a new roof membrane, drainage mat, and tile finish. The result preserved the building’s historic elegance while ensuring long-term structural integrity.
